Don’t Be A Pussy. It’s Bad For You.

I just read an article that really pissed me off. It was about how heavy a particular olympic athlete is, and the article was pointing out that women who weigh that much shouldn’t feel bad.

The athlete who was described in the article was almost 6 feet tall and weighed a little over 200 pounds. She looked pretty dam good at over 200 pounds. She was obviously very strong, very muscular.

The problem is, there are very few women who look good at over 200 Pounds. Much less trying to stay healthy at over 200 pounds.

Hell most men can’t pull off being over 200 pounds.

The article pissed me off because it was written in an attempt at pandering to fat girls.

It was an attempt at allowing them to continue to delude themselves. The let them continue to believe that people who called them fat were just being mean and the guys who wouldn’t fuck them were just pigs.

Or whatever conclusions they came to that allowed them to feel good about being fat.

My overall point is this: don’t delude yourself, don’t be a pussy. Face the facts. In all areas of your life, look for the most useful information available as a means of evaluating your performance.

Not just the most convenient information.

Obviously, it’s not healthy or attractive to carry around 40% of your body weight as fat, no matter what your height and weight are, no matter how that compares to the height and weight of a particular Olympic athlete.

If you’re serious about looking good naked, you should focus on reducing your body fat by reducing your calorie intake and increasing your calorie expenditures (AKA exercise).

That’s really all there is to it.

I’m not a doctor or the judge of fitness competitions so I won’t try to quote a particular body fat percentage number but a simple google search should clear that up for you.
